MAINTAIN SIMPLICITY IT IS THE HUMBLE HEART GOD RESPONDS TO The Spirit of God said to me, "The most profound thing you can do is to maintain simplicity!" One of the quickest ways to spot man-made religious systems is: they are always active, extremely busy, working hard, making complicated and complex what God has made simple. Our quest should be to maintain and preserve, at all cost, a childlike heart. Yes, we are to move to marks of maturity, however, on the journey we must never lose our childlike nature in our response to Christ. Remember God resists the proud, and He gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5). Christ Jesus was asked a pointed question, Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven? It is incredibly important that we understand and comprehend His response in Matthew 18:1-5: At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me." This response from our Lord is totally opposite of man's way of thinking; religion is always seeking to "wow" others with our knowledge and theological grasp of issues. Yet, Jesus reveals it is a humble childlike heart that is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. This passage releases understanding and insights concerning our need to become humble and childlike, not childish. It would seem that becoming childlike and conversion go hand and hand, regardless of age. Children are normally characterized by simplicity, profound trustfulness, and honesty. Such qualities in a man lead him to Christ and conversion. The Problem: Human Nature A huge obstacle to becoming childlike is pride. Haughty pride is a basic part of human nature. People seek to do things that exalt themselves over others. The only way to be what God intends people to be is to be childlike, and cast aside arrogant self-exaltation. A terrible sin to fall prey to is the sin of self-centeredness. According to Scripture, even the Disciples of Christ struggled with this plaguing problem of self-centeredness In Mark 9:33-37: Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, "What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?" But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, "If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all." Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me. Again this subject of wrong motives is dealt with in Luke 9:46-48: Then a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great." Christian Character To understand Jesus' instructions about humility, one must observe children. Their sense of innocence, directness, and trust give us keys to comprehending what it means to be humble in the Kingdom of God. This humility is acted out before God, but its credibility is visible as we act toward others with a true sense of their worth and of the gifts they bring to the Kingdom's work. One of the swiftest pathways to spiritual promotion is "servant-hood!" Paul states that he did not attempt to reach the people with human wisdom and eloquent words but rather he chose to present the person and passion of Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2: 1-5: And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. WE TOO, WILL DO WELL TO LIFT UP CHRIST AND HIS CROSS TO A HURTING WORLD. THIS IS THE SIMPLE MESSAGE WITH A PROFOUND IMPACT ON ALL WHO RESPOND. KEEP IT SIMPLE! PRAY WITHOUT CEASEING, PRAY FOR AMERICA, ISRAEL AND OUR LEADERS, OUR TROOPS, AND THE BODY OF CHRIST. "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." She is very careful to recommend herself to ...CHRIST'S ESTEEM and AFFECTION, to know his MIND, and is willing that he rule over her. She can be trusted, and he will leave such a spouse to manage for him. He is happy in her. And she makes her constant business to do him good. She is one who takes pains in her duties and takes pleasure in doing them. She is careful to fill up time, that non be lost. She rises early. She applies herself to the business proper for her, to the Church's business. She does what she does with all her power, and trifles not. She makes what she does turn to good account by prudent management. Many undo themselves by buying without considering whether they can afford it. She provides well for her house. She lays up for The hereafter. She looks well to the ways of her household, that she may oblige all to do their duty to GOD and one another, as well as to herself. She is as intent upon giving as upon getting, and does it freely and cheerfully. She is discreet and obliging ; every word she says shows she governs herself by the rules of wisdom. She not only takes prudent measures herself, but gives prudent advice to others. The law of love and kindness is written in her heart,and shows itself in her conversation. Her heart is full of another world, even when her hands are most busy about this world. Above all, she fears the LORD. Beauty recommends none to GOD, nor is it any proof of wisdom and goodness, but it has deceived many a man who made his choice of a Church by it. But the fear of the LORD reigning in the heart is the beauty of the soul; IT LASTS FOREVER. She has firmness to bear up under crosses and disappointments. She shall reflect with comfort when she comes to be old, that she was not idle or useless when she was young. She shall rejoice in a world to come. She is a great blessing to her relations. She leaves it to her own good works to praise her, everyone ought to desire this honour that comes from GOD; and according to his standard we ought to regulate our judgments. DEAR CHILDREN OF GOD IAM – GOD'S WOMAN GOD'S WOMAN LETTER FROM GOD TO WOMAN: When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But YOU, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man, because your nostrils are too delicate. ...I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently fashion you. Man was put to sleep so he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone, I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's live. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone, I shaped YOU... I modeled YOU! I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. YOU… provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib supports the body. YOU... were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side... WOMAN... you are my perfect angel... You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtues in your heart. Your eyes ... don't change them. Your lips... how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose... so perfect in form. Your hands so gentle to touch. I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep. I've held your heart close to mine. Of all that lives... YOU ARE MOST LIKE ME... Adam : Walked with me in the cool of the day, YET HE WAS LONELY. He could not see or touch me. He could only feel me. SO ... Everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you: MY HOLINESS, MY STRENGTH, MY PURITY, MY LOVE, MY PROTECTION AND SUPPORT. WOMAN... YOU ARE SPECIAL... Because YOU are an extension of me. Man represents my image, woman my emotions. TOGETHER, you represent the totality of GOD. SO...MAN...TREAT WOMAN WELL. LOVE HER, RESPECT HER, FOR SHE IS FRAGILE... FOR SHE IS GOD'S WOMAN O! MY – THERE MUST BE A FULL MOON A CONTENTIOUS AND AN ANGRY WOMAN Pro 21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman. Note, 1. Unbridled passions embitter and spoil the comfort of all relations. A peevish angry wife makes her husband's life uneasy, to whom she should be a comfort and a meet help. Those cannot dwell in peace and happiness that cannot dwell in peace and love. Even those that are one flesh, if they be not withal one spirit, have no joy of their union. 2. It is better to have no company than bad company. The wife of thy covenant is thy companion, and yet, if she be peevish and provoking, it is better to dwell in a solitary wilderness, exposed to wind and weather, than in company with her. A man may better enjoy God and himself in a wilderness than among quarrelsome relations and neighbours. See Pro_21:9. Pro 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. Pro 21:9 - See here, 1. What a great affliction it is to a man to have a brawling scolding woman for his wife, who upon every occasion, and often upon no occasion, breaks out into a passion, and chides either him or those about her, is fretful to herself and furious to her children and servants, and, in both, vexatious to her husband. If a man has a wide house, spacious and pompous, this will embitter the comfort of it to him - a house of society (so the word is), in which a man may be sociable, and entertain his friends; this will make both him and his house unsociable, and unfit for enjoyments of true friendship. It makes a man ashamed of his choice and his management, and disturbs his company. 2. What many a man is forced to do under such an affliction. He cannot keep up his authority. He finds it to no purpose to contradict the most unreasonable passion, for it is unruly and rages so much the more; and his wisdom and grace will not suffer him to render railing for railing, nor his conjugal affection to use any severity, and therefore he finds it his best way to retire into a corner of the house-top, and sit alone there, out of the hearing of her clamor; and if he employ himself well there, as he may do, it is the wisest course he can take. It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. Better do so than quit the house, and go into bad company, for diversion, as many, who, like Adam, make their wife's sin the excuse of their own. THE LORD'S DAY KEEP YOUR EYES FIXED ON JESUS AND ON HIS WORD. And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. -- Exodus 13:21 Some people who believe that the Christian life should be an easy life. And yet, you and I know this isn't a Scriptural perspective. After all, Jesus told us to expect life to be challenging. But one of the extraordinary aspects of our faith is learning that God's grace and presence are always with us… especially in the hard places. We see this so clearly in today's verse where we find the newly liberated children of Israel being lead in daylight by a pillar of cloud, and at night by a pillar of fire. Do you know what these two pillars are? They are the majestic presence of God, what's known in Hebrew as the Shekinah glory of the Lord. Can you imagine how comforting it must have been to look into the sky, by day or night, and see God's glorious presence leading you? Do you wish God would lead you like that? Well, he can! As you go through life's dry and barren places, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and on his word. Step by step, you will discover the presence of almighty God leading you into all he has promised you. AS YOU GO THROUGH LIFE'S DRY AND BARREN PLACES, KEEP YOUR EYES FIXED ON JESUS AND ON HIS WORD. " Help us blow the trumpet; sanctify a fast in the day of preparation for spiritual warfare. Give us power for the equipping of the saints for revival, soul winning, and divine health. Than You are fertilizing and watering; than planting your good fruit. Thank you, lord. For opening my eyes and showing me that the weeds and the fruit can not flourish together. If the weeds- my sins- are not destroyed, then the fruit- your love in me- can not blossom to it's full potential and multiply in others. AMEN... Med: I can never repay the lord for all that he has done for me. Only GOD himself can defeat the cunning wiles of Satan. Only GOD can forgive my sins and set me free from the prison they create. Soon I will be free, really free, for the first time in my life. I have been a prisoner for a long time, but my GOD is setting me free for all time. PRAYER: ABBA FATHER; My God, only you are the author of real freedom, You are my liberator and my champion, for I am not strong enough to defeat the wiles of Satan. Lord, I will put my trust in you for all the days of my life. Show me, Lord, the path of your righteousness and give me the strength to follow your ways, the only way to happiness, peace and fulfillment forever. Let us focus on the goal of being with YOU in heavenly bliss for all eternity....... SO BE IT GOD'S creation is filled with beauty and I am becoming one of his beautiful creations. His presence alone can change the impossible into the possible, into the probable, into the done. The worm is becoming a beautiful butterfly, because with Him I become strong and can overcome all ugliness. THE BATTLE IS NOT OVER, BUT GOD IS WITH ME. PRAYER: ABBA-FATHER; LORD, be with me this day and remain strong in me for all the days of my life, so that I may live for YOU. You are the only life for me, the song on my lips and in my heart. Foolish people store up wealth and seek the pleasures of the flesh, and they are deceived by the evil one. Keep my mind clear with YOUR presence, LORD, that I may continue to see the one true way to happiness, WHICH IS IN YOU AND THROUGH YOU. MY LORD JESUS....... IN YOUR NAME I PRAY. SO BE IT. This is war, good against evil, I am the prize MY VERY SOUL: With GOD'S help I have the edge in this struggle, for He is the Mightiest One, the all POWERFULL. But I must not forget that evil has trickery and deceit on its side. I must remain alert to recognize my foe, for my loss means the death of my soul, and winning means eternal life in blissful glory with my GOD-JEHOVAH. I WILL REMAIN STRONG, AND WITH FAITH AS MY SHEILD AND LOVE AS MY WEAPON, HE AND I WILL WIN THIS DAY... ABBA-FATHER: LORD; You are my rock, my salvation, with You I am everything; without You I am nothing. YOU HAVE REVEALED YOURSELF AND YOUR SON TO ME IN MY DESERT!!! You have answered my call for help. You have quenched my thirst with Your healing waters. Though the shadow of death follows me on my journey, I will fear no evil for YOU offer me eternal life. YOU'RE ROD AND STAFF COMFORTS ME.. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY ....... SO BE IT. MEDITATION: GOD is good to me; He fills my heart with gladness. He allows me to conquer the challenges of each day and feel victorious, not because of my will power and strength but because of HIS SPIRIT within me. I love to feel HIS presence; it is like no other feeling, of being loved I have ever experienced. It must be a taste of heaven. As I endeavor to be HIS, HE showers such wonderful gifts upon me: PEACE; CONTENTMENT; HAPPINESS; OTHER PEAPLE TO LOVE, SERVE AND FORGIVE; DAILY OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE HIM; AND MORE. HE IS WITH ME IN ALL THINGS, AND I TRY TO BE LED BY HIS SPIRIT... ABBA-FATHER; Thank you, LORD, for staying with me, for not giving up on me. I have faith stronger than ever before, that you will see me through this journey to its ultimate destination, THE SALVATION OF THIS SOUL. The victory is yours, LORD; ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO YOU. You're the Mightiest One, THE HOLY ONE. Be the master of this soul. THIS I ASK IN THE NAME OF MY LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST; WHO LIVES AND RULES IN ME FOREVER... SO BE IT... GOD is doing great things for me! HE has set my foe behind me. I am no longer the weak person I thought I was. THE LORD, has given me a new vision to see through Satan, to see through his lies, to recognize him in all his disguises and trickery. My model is now JESUS; HE is my test of good or evil. When I am confronted with a decision, I can simply ask, "WHAT HAS JESUS DONE A BOUT THIS?" HE IS WITH ME ON THIS DAY. THANK YOU LORD, JESUS! PRAYER: ABBA-FATHER; Lord, You are all powerful. You amaze me with your deeds, especially with your love for me. I thought I was unworthy, but you have taught me of my importance to you, my God. I am indeed fortunate to be so blessed. Help me, lord, to share this wonderful gift of awareness of your love with others. I was blind, but now I see... Amen... MEDITATION: The lord gives me rest and calm in this sea of turmoil, this sea of life. What a treasure is the lord, a treasure I hope to keep forever, a mysterious treasure? I can only keep him by giving him away to others, by sharing him, by telling others what he has done for me. By giving him to others, I will receive him more...only God can work in such mysterious and wonderful ways as he is with me this day. Thank you Jesus! ABBA FATHER; LORD, Thank you for giving yourself to me, an undeserving sinner. In my human mind, I can never be worthy of you, my God, Yet you see me as your beautiful child, soiled and stained from my own foolishness and in need of your loving, healing touch. I can never repay you for revealing those things to me; I can only sing praises to you all the days of my life. Praise and honor and glory to you most magnificent one, ruler of the universe and ruler of my soul. JESUS YOU ARE MY LORD!!! THANK YOU, LORD JESUS.......SO BE IT....... MEDITATION; MY LORD IS SO POWERFUL. There is no foe that can stand against the power of his love for his creation. Yet I believe his greatest love is for the human soul; for he gives us freedom to choose or reject him. If we choose him, he makes all things possible for us. His strength becomes our strength, against which evil can not prevail on this day... ABBA-FATHER; Lord, you have opened my eyes to your beauty and splendor. How blind I have been in ignoring you for earthy things. But you have been patient with me, lord, and now I am changing, as the butterfly, into your beautiful creation. I AM REBORN IN YOU, MY GOD, MY SAVIOR... THANK YOU JESUS... IN YOUR NAME I PRAY... SO BE IT... MEDITATION: Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me, free me from the traps that are set for me, for you are my refuge. INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY spirit; REDEEM ME, O LORD, THE GOD OF TRUTH!!! Through the lord, a new sense of peace has come over me, as I am being sheltered from the turbulence of the world. I believe this feeling to be the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT him self. Though I concentrate on today in resisting evil, I feel the power of the HOLY SPIRIT within me will be victorious for all the days of my life. It is difficult to keep my heart from leaping with joy as He and I begin this day in GODS creation of a free soul... ABBA-FATHER; PRAISE TO YOU, ALMIGHTY GOD, For your power brings peace and contentment to this soul. You remake me according to your will, and I am most pleased. No longer is my soul anything more than a parched desert, trampled by the forces of evil. You, lord, are planting a beautiful garden. You are watering and nourishing me with your holy love (HOLY SPIRIT). I am overwhelmed and grateful, my Lord, my God. THANK YOU IN JESUS NAME... SO BE IT... IAM SAYING; I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE ON SNAKES AND ON SCORPIONS AND TO OVERCOME "ALL THE POWER" OF THE ENEMY; HE WILL ALLOW NOTHING TO HARM ME. I CONFESS WITH MY MOUTH THAT JESUS HAS GIVEN ME AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE ON SERPENTS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING BY ANY MEANS WILL HURT ME. NO WEAPON THAT HAS BEEN OR SHALL BE FORMED AGAINST ME OR MY FAMILY WILL PROSPER! Amen. Psalm 144:1;2 Praise Be to the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers to battle. He is my loving God and my fortress; my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge. MEDITATION. I am so happy that I started this journey, for I am becoming a new person. I am experiencing a rebirth of the whole purpose of my life. It's as if scales have been removed from my eyes and I'm seeing things clearly for the first time. I am gaining control over my mind. I like the new me, as my God and I together begin our new day. THANK YOU LORD JESUS ! ABBA FATHER; LORD, YOU ARE MY STRENGTH FOREVER. I have been so blind in the past, refusing to see you even while I prayed to You. HELP ME NEVER TO FORGET YOUR HEALING POWER. HELP ME NEVER TO FORGET THE WAY I WAS, BLIND AND WEAK, NOT IN CONTROL.
